My Experience

After having worked for over 15 years for various multi-national corporations, I decided to launch a Public Accounting firm in Dallas, Texas. I must confess that my wife, Samina was the motivating force behind my decision. I had been a desiring-entrepreneur all my life. I had even launched several enterprises in the past but had not been successful at them in the real sense - i.e. something that you could measure in $$$$. However, all of them were great learning experiences for me as I was getting ready to launch my next venture which was destined to be successful. The CPA practice in Dallas also had its difficulties as it grew. Some errors in choosing the right team, and other issues did create some desperate moments. However, with persistence and focus and innovation, the practice became a very successful venture by industry standards. In order to pursue my interest in expanding my business horizon beyond city limits, I divested from this practice at a significant financial gain to help me launch my other interests in life. So, I now have over 22 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, financial systems design and implementation, business management, marketing, specialized software implementation, human resource management and everything else that goes around in a business.

I have conducted numerous business seminars at Dallas Small Business Development Center and other organizations besides organizing my own seminars and trainings. I am currently an Adjunct Faculty at University of Phoenix, Dallas Campus where I teach various courses in Accounting and Financial Management. I have served as Adjunct Faculty with DeVry University and Texas Wesleyan University.
